I have gotten so many requests to sue the police for the incident. But what's the purpose of suing the government? I was advised by numerous lawyers and they say that proceedings would take two years and a lot of resources. I was also told that it would be difficult to prove. The easiest thing for all my fellow victims to do is to slip back into their own lives and I wouldn’t blame them. We are all human. So court proceedings will have few people coming forward which makes it more difficult.

Suing the police would mean I would be expecting to sue them for money. Thing is, it was never about the money. If the police ends up paying me that would be taxpayers money, your money.

So I will be making a lot of noise. And hopefully the news would travel to somebody with the power to change things and justice can prevail. How many were there before me and how many will there be after me I will never know.

But a better Malaysia begins with me. And with my friends and fellow blogger’s help, hopefully this country would just be that little bit better. Do forward this link to everybody you know, as everybody deserves to know.

Thank you all for your support. It is deeply appreciated.

I am on the road to recovery. In fact, life was as if it never happened. I'm back to my jovial self and yes, the skies are blue. But there will always be a scar on my wrists and a black spot on my heart that I cannot forget, and will not forget.

Recovery? Can you put it behind you? Will you not think about it at night? Will the anger subside? Don't let "it" grow within you.

Lawyers are businessman. They have a law firm to earn income. Perhaps change your approach to Non-Profit Org. MCA's Michael Chong? PAS, BN, MIC, ... anyone at all... track down all the MPs and go one by one. Write to them, if none of them care, you will know if recovering from your nationalistic spirit is still important or not. There are more options that just lawyers. You can ask me for help if you need.

dude, your story really touched my heart. If this could happen to you, it could also happen to me and anyone else. No point having such a nice development country if we have to live in fear.

you should be proud of yourself for being brave to expose this to the whole world. Justice is no longer here in this land.

If your lawsuit succeeds that PROVES their wrongdoing. Christ, don't go patronising with the kind of BS you're wasting other people's money when the truth is you're too sissified to sue their ass.

You make me sick! If you REALLY love your country and you really want a better Malaysia, you would've pulled all guns out and start firing.

You only bitch and whine this shit because it happened to you. Like the other guy said, if it happens to somebody else, you probably won't give a fuck.

Don't get other bloggers to do shit for you. Do it yourself. Otherwise, don't call yourself a "better Malaysian" or some sort of patronising shit.

A wise move, my friend. I read the entire previous entry, and was deeply appalled by the police's behaviour. Bastards.

If it could happen to you, then it could happen to me, and anyone else. My parents. My siblings. My cousins. Good friends. Everyone. And I don't want that to happen.

I wish you luck in your endeavours to change Malaysia.

Dear Corgan Sow,

Yes, I probably am too sissified to sue the police. But the proper word would be scared.

And about pulling all my guns out and start firing? I love my country. But I love my family and those around me even more. To subject them to such mental torture of a lawsuit is... really quite unthinkable.

So I'm doing what I can do. And really... this is a process. People who come out with all guns firing are usually shot to bits.

I appreciate your commments, but please, no 'fuck' and any other expletives on this blog. You don't need it to prove a point.

You're saying "a better Malaysian begins with me". Begins with what? Slendering your country with some cocked up fantasy of being persecuted by the cops? You claim you love this country, don't want to waste their tax money on lawsuit etc, but you've already done your part on SLANDERING Malaysians by not going out to defend yourself.

If it's true that you're "recovering", you wouldn've created this blog in the first place. I would expect somebody who created an anonymous blog online to have all the guns ready.

What's the whole purpose of this website again? To whine? To rant? To create some kickass fitnah? To seek justice?

The REAL people who wanted "better Malaysia" are those who gave their lives away fighting the Japanese and the Communists on this soil. If you don't want to get shot to bits, then don't compare yourself as some loyal Malaysian to these people above!

I think you should go to any one of the mainstream media and tell your story, the sun, the malay mail or berita harian.
I have brought your experienced to the attention of the owers that be to Berita Harian. Hopefully something can come out of it.
Better still if you can prove what you said happened really took place and get one of two more of those who had gone through the ordeal to tell their story to the paper.
The other way is to get your story out via micheal chong of mca compliants office.
I think such things should not be allowed to go on. These rouge policemen should be brought to justice. Otherwise such terrible things will go on.

i agree with corgan sow. ditto to everything he said. you need to bring this matter up with some reputable NGO/lawyer.

What about that lawyer who goes around fighting for deaths in police custody. i don't remember his name. you may wanna contact him.

All the best.

wat i really learn here in this blog is that, 22 unfortune people vs 5 - 6, or maximum 20 people involved who mistakenly, or even we can say carelessly, make those 22 go to jail.

so, it is about those 22 fight for their clean name against those a few "bad cop" but not the whole malaysia police unit..or the malaysia government, indirectly.

do you think those 5-6 bad cop can represent the whole malaysia police unit? do you think all cop are bad? for the owner of this blog, please, identify the right police who caught u that night, and try your best to sue them, but not the whole malaysia police unit. "know your right enemy, so you can success in your mission". and please, fight for your clean name, but not, fight to make malaysia's government name bad. those bad cop dont represent the whole malaysia police unit. trust in other(many of them) good police, they risk their life to protect our nation. Hate those 5 - 6 bad people (who happened to be cop) because bad people dont have place in this proud malaysia. i am no intention to make you feel bad, you can fight for your clean name and you have my support, but be more specific about your enemy. whether the 5 - 6 bad cop, or the whole malaysia's government? think about it, before you make more people took your word wrongly and starts to hate the whole malaysia police force!

p/s, please change your nick name, because malaysia is already best place in this world. the 5 - 6 bad cop dont make malaysia worst.

Dear Anonymous,

Yes, you are right, Malaysia is the best place on earth. And do remember that my post only laid bare what happened to me.

If it seemed that I was blaming the entire police force, I'm sorry, the post must have given the wrong impression. I do believe that the police are still trying their best to do a good job, however maybe their top brass and the police commissioner does not know of what is happening under his nose.

That is what this blog is for, to inform. So something may be done.

Corgan sow .. u fried ur brains or wat? in this time n day, where got ppl stoopidly die for the country juz to prove that he/she loves the country? Kamikaze is so yesterday lah ok. ABM has a bright future ahead of him - n he doesnt need to stay here to survive ok. after how the country has let him down, he could juz go elsewhere n seek a better life! a young n smart man like him doesn need to stay in this corrupted country. I've always mantained that this country is way too corrupted beyond any cure.

How ABM loves his country, who are u to judge? those iditoic MPs think that loving ur country is all abt flying the Jalur Gemilang every August. U probably, like 99% of us, think that is bullcrap. so why didn u knock on the great doors of our parliament to ask them to cut the load of crap, since u love ur country dat much n dun agree with THEIR way of showing love?? And u accuse him of whining and bitching just because it happened to him. NOW tell me this, before this post, have u ever come across another blog post - written in black n white, and not juz passed around by word of mouth - that paints such a clear picture of what exactly happens during n after a raid? IF ABM hadn't written such a post, most of us would still be in the dark over such matters... And u accuse ABM of whining. Just in case u dunno the power of bloggers/blogging, U JUST WATCH.
Now take ur pitiful backside somewhere else to sun.

1. Evidence = hard to find as a "criminal"(u know who) who had always been a repeated offender would know ways of eliminating possibilities of getting evidence or proof of their sins.

Try to take photos as evidence? think of why suspects would have to remove their clothings and all belongings. how are u gonna take photos? shove a mini camera up you ass? you could also say that the photos could be taken before they get naked and given only pants to wear. Think of how many people would dare to take photos when corruption takes place in such a frightening environment. And most probably it would be the suspects' first time to be in such a case. How well do u think a first timer can handle all this shit?also think of what will happen to suspects if they get caught when trying to get evidence. There is also a possibility of polis removing those photos after seizing all their belongings. The police are smarter than u think. Would they be a fool to let u get evidence?

2. to fkcugers/ littlefox/ whatever. i understand why u guys would ask for proof. but why not think of this way: what would happen if this innocent guy was right and telling the whole truth but he just doesn't have any proof? there is actually a big possibility of this happening. And holy shit, the next thing you know, you've already wasted so much of others' time by "not believing and trying to proof that this blogger is all wrong". Actually if you don't believe this blogger, you can just keep quiet. Why am i saying this? bcos.. if he's lying, where will he end? it will always be nowhere. u might say that his intention is to make citizens go against the police / to degrade the police. try to set a poll on "Do u think the Malaysian Police is reliable/trustworthy/real holders of justice?Yes/No." I can say more than 50%, or perhaps 60 or 70% of ppl who answered the poll will choose "NO". why? cos citizens are not stupid enough to just HEAR from UNKNOWN ppl. They hear from families, and ppl who could be trusted. How many family members would lie about things that happen in jail? some of them aren't lucky enuff to have just heard from somebody about all this evil police crap. They have to EXPERIENCE it by putting into jail for no fuckin reason.

My point:There's no reason to degrade police any further when so many ppl knew how evil they are from their experiences.

point#2: You can actually choose not to believe without discouraging other ppl reading this blog or by asking for proof. How?by keeping quiet and stop those pointless talking. cos by keeping quiet instead of accusing this blogger of being a liar, nothing really bad would end up anywayz. Even if this whole thing is a fake, do u think that there isn't any other cases that really happened in malaysia? No point in helping corrupted malaysian police. NO, i don't hate you guys(though what i said seemed harsh and emotional :P).

3. I'm sure many of u guys know this. But some ppl still lacked the knowledge that some papers or other media are associated with the government/ police. They could cooperate. get what i mean. they could be told not to let the citizens know some particular things. Not all media behaves this way, but some.

4. Though i can't fully trust this blogger(can only trust 78.2453%), i'm sure that cases like this do happen in malaysia. Therefore i will support u till the end and will assume that it's still ok for people IF this story is fake. I mean, what's wrong to have more awareness in citizens? Hopefully more people would read this blog. Best of luck to you, blogger. i admire your courage and strength.

You can sue the police force for a 5000RM or so (5000RM such that your case will be heard on a proper court and not some low claim court) or perhaps ask for a public apology (which is impossible to happen and if it does the whole country will go into state of emergency since the ppl has no fear going against the police).

not much good will come out of it, but it may be good that if you tried so that your mind will rest and say "i've tried".

winning a case against the police has a total chance of 0%, have you ever read a report on civilian winning a case against the police in msia? although the police force is only "the enforcer of law" not the law itself, while the court is the law and not the enforcer, they have a symbiotic relation and they will protect each other.

without doubt the police should set an example for the public to follow. well, if this is the kind of examples we are getting, this country is going nowhere better.

True what "old fart" said, but should we just leave it at it is?

somethings for everyone to ponder on:
what happen to "innocent until proven guilty"?

the law requires us to fully understand a document before putting our signiture on it, as law enforcer, should they violate the detainee's rights?

Ask me to say more bad things about msia? i could go on and on and on... but that wouldn't help at all.. so until i have the capability to make a difference for the better, i work hard for that day to come.

Hey ABM,

I've been quietly following all your blogs since I was inform of it's creation ;o)

I must say that you really do surprise me as a person. Before, I thought you as a silly boy who just wants to have fun. But now I know you're more than that. Your words and the way you perceived the situation (and it's proceedings) - just amplifies your maturity.

You have my respect.

But I would also like to inform you of something I learned about the Malaysian government sometime ago. Not too long ago.

You see, I was working in a news center and know alot about what's behind the news - the real shit as I call them.

Last year in 2004, a group of 30 medical students sued the government for not recognizing their international degrees. Months later, the government developed a special integration program for medical students who studied abroad, as their degrees were not recognize by local authorities. There were hundreds of medical students inducted into this program.

However, the government continued to express that - the group of 30 medical students will not be allowed to join this program.

It's up to you what you want to derive from this piece of information. But I'm just putting out facts of our country.

I wholly agree with you that to change the society around us has to start within ourselves. You will have to start the change - the ripple. It takes time, yes, but don't give up.

What I can do now is only to help you carry forward your ripples - or paying it forward.

to those people who think this blog is fake,

come on, do u really think ABM is so free to think up something like this?? i mean what has he gotta gain?? oh i know!! mb we can asked speilberg to hire him as a screen writer for the hext big conspiracy theory hit movie!!

jeezz people, use some logic thinking here. and if u really think this is fake, stop commenting here la. ur making people waste time reading ur long stupid comments.

and to those who think that clubbers are spoilt brats,

plese do not be too quick to judge us, just because we drink, it doesn't mean we're alcoholics. just because we party till late, doesn;t make us hooligans, and just because we visit night clubs, it doesn't mean we take drugs.

it's just another way of life. me and my frens, the designated driver of the night don't drink, that's why we take turns to be drivers when we go party.

i think what ABM is trying to do here is to let people know whats going on. what about the other 21 that was caught too??!! why are they not coming forward?? that's because, sometimes, especially malaysian, we just wanna get on with life, we just wanna forget the terrible things that has happened. but can u live with the knowledge that, because u didn't do something, someone else will be victimized. this whole vicious cycle will keep turning.

so give ABM a break. he already took up the courage to do something by writing this blog. now it's up to us, whether we wanna do something about it.

and i believe what some other bloggers said, if this had not happened to u, u will not understand how ABM feels. but if it can happen to ABM, why not u.

baby

Then what is this blog for? For fun. Everybody in Malaysia knows the Police are gangsters. We have heard many stories like yours. Some are even worst. Basically the poors indian ethnic group in Malaysia are treated worst than a dog by police. Your case compare to theirs is nothing.

I don't think your blog is genuine and won't be a reformasi force like MalaysiaTOday.

you probably ...

(1) or definately have never gone through what the victims have.

(2) even if you have, you do not have (a) a family or loved ones to care about and protect , or (b) a brain.

(3) think that you're in some computer game going "pulled out your guns and start firing away"
